Bears full, globular, pink flowers, clearly striped with fuchsia, magenta and white. After its first crop of blooms, it flowers in flushes in late summer. There is a strong, rich fragrance. It forms a bushy shrub with luxuriant pale green foliage and prickly stems. It prefers a warm, protected position.Tanne, 1910.
